$20.00 - $200.00 / Sold Out
Help save Takoma Park's beloved, independently owned small businesses with your very own Roscoe the Rooster print! Due to the COVID-19 crisis, many businesses are closed and others are running very limited hours and services. There is no end in sight and they need our help.
This print is letterpress printed by hand one at a time on an antique 19th-century printing press right here in Takoma Park. The slight variations in color and texture of each print is what makes the letterpress printing process unique. Each print measures 8"x10" and comes signed and numbered.

Roscoe was the community’s beloved rooster that wandered the streets of Takoma in the 1990s. Roscoe was a free spirit that defied the authorities and found sanctuary with business owners and residents alike. Emblematic of the community in which he lived, this famous fowl was memorialized in a bronze sculpture that can be found on Laurel Avenue today.
